PAINFUL POSITION WITH WHICH OUR REDEEMER WAS TORTURED, IN CAIFAS PRISON
In an angle deep in this basement came out of the ground a school or tip of a cliff so hard, that they couldn’t break it.
In this cloak, which was like a piece of spine, they tied and bound Christ our good with the ends of the throats, but in a ruthless way; because leaving it standing, they put it in such a way that it was bound and inclined together the body, without it being able to be sitting, nor lifting right the body to relieve ; so the posture came to be new storm and in extreme painful.
With this kind of prison they left her and locked the doors with a key, handing her over to one of those terrible ministers to take care of her.
It happened that a multitude of angels attending the Redeemer in his passion, then they saw him tied in that posture so painful and instead so unworthy and unclean, they lied before his lament, worshipping him for their true God and Lord, and gave to His Majesty all deeper reverence and worship, how admirable it was to be treated with such oprobius for the love he had for the same men.
They sang to him some hymns and hymns that his pure Mother had made in his praise. And all the heavenly spirits asked him in the name of his Mother, who for he did not want to show the power of his right hand in relieving his holy humanity, give them permission to unblock and relieve him from that storm and defend him from that squad of ministers, that instigated by the devil prevented to offend him again.
His Majesty did not admit this gift from Los Angeles and replied saying: Spirits and ministers of my Eternal Father, it is not my will to receive now relief in my passion, and I want to suffer these oprobios and storms, to satisfy the burning charity with which I love men and leave my chosen and friends this example, to imitate me and in tribulation they do not fail, and that all may cherish the treasures of grace, which I have earned them abundantly through these sufferings…
