Power of God

The novena to St. Joseph started yesterday so I thought I’d share my encounter with this great saint. Foster father to Jesus.

St. Joseph has always helped me with things that we women rely on men for. Physical strength and work related situations.
I had to set up certain machines at work being a working supervisor, (at that time)a position I didn’t ask for but was assigned to or rather the decision of management for their own particular reasons.
Spent the other 20 years in an office position.
My ability to do it was also questionable. “Could this woman handle this man job?”
And I’m not even a feminist trying to prove anything! 😆 I’m a conservative, Catholic and pro man etc.
There were these mental rods that were stuck in 3 machines that needed to be removed for the next setup with different rods for a particular material.
They wouldn’t budge. Too much for my female strength to handle.
So after all my physical efforts nothing was happening.
So I stopped and quietly prayed to St Joseph to help me and then I tried again.
Boom, first rod came out. Tried the 2nd rod and boom again it came out along with the 3rd.
Reset the machines up with different sized rods for a particular product and they were humming beautifully.
An astonished man, the guy I was replacing, came up to me and asked “Sue how did you get those rods out? I tried and they wouldn’t budge “
With very muscular arms like 3 times my size arms, he was baffled.
He was one of 3 guys that didn’t want me to have that position and did everything to undermine me getting it.
I responded, “I prayed to St. Joseph and they just came out.”
Off he went with questions on his face.
So anyway, every time I have to do something a guy should and can do better than me, and because I don’t have a man to help me, I pray to St Joseph and he more often than not always comes through for me.
